Philippe Beltrando created the Barbotine workshop, “pottery of old, flavors of today”, where one finds the original types of Provençal and Mediterranean pottery conceived around the notion of flavor.

His pottery is exposed and sold in a shop in the center of the city of Aubagne. The workshop is handicap-accessible and has received the label “tourism and handicap”. In 2009, the workshop became a member of the EVEIL network towards responsible and solidarity tourism with the territory of Aubagne and l'Etoile; it has committed in 2010 to reduce its environmental footprint and sensitize its employees and visitors to eco-responsible initiatives.
